North Carolina Democrats introduced a constitutional amendment to guarantee at least 14 days of early voting in response to a Republican proposal to cut early voting to 10 days.

A bill to regulate North Carolina’s burgeoning cryptocurrency ATM industry was approved by the state Senate Tuesday, setting it up for a final House vote later this week.

The proposal, the state’s first complete budget since 2023, includes raises, tax changes, and funding for Helene relief.
